Summer
9th July 2011
Very fun summer so far. From 6/12 to6/18 we went to Florida and visited Disneyworld and Universal Studios. We hung out at the Nickelodeon Hotel. My favorite part is when we went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We got a wand, tasted butterbeer, and we visited Hogwarts. A very fun trip.
From 6/20 to 6/24 we went to VBS, a church camp. VBS stands for Vacation Bible School. I was a counselor and my brother was a camper. It was very fun and I got very attached to my kids.
From 6/27 to 7/1 we went to a basketball camp. We learned a lot. I even got camper of the day.
On July 3, we went to the beach. I slept most of the time. Don’t ask me why. I missed all the fun parts, except getting waist high wet just by being on the shore. High tide, no duh?
On July 4, we went to two parties. The first party was at my friends house and we swam in their pool. Then we went to Old Ranch Park and went crazy and watched fireworks with our other friends.
Today, on July 9, we went to my mom’s coworker’s wedding. The wedding lasted about 5 minutes, but we got to party the rest of the time. We ate rock candy, dinner, and drank soda. We took lots of crazy pictures and danced. I didn’t. But a lot of other people did. We experimented and put rock candy in sprite. It tasted really good. I mean really good. You should try it. The rock candy was purple because the theme of the wedding was purple. The m and ms were purple and tasted like grape, so were the pretzels. My friend says they taste really good.
So far summer was been great!!!!
O…we have been going picture and video crazy this summer using my phone.
7th Grade went by fast. Very fast. I ended up with all A’s. I had very good teachers. I even got an honorary student of the year. I am very satisfised with the school year.

Smencil Selling
14th November 2009
Hello again. As you know, I got accepted to the People to People Program, as shown in the People to People page. I
have to raise 7, 200 dollars. So as a fundrasiser, I’m selling smencils for a dollar. They are gourmet scented pencils made of 100% recycled newspaper. The case is made of biodegradable plastic. The flavors are to the left. The flavors are: watermelon, black cherry, cinnamon, cotton candy, grape, bubble gum, orange, very berry, and tropical blast. Please reply in my comments if you would like to buy some. You will love it! Thanks! Oh, and for all of you who don’t know what People to People is, check the People to People page. Bye!
Science
5th November 2009
Science is fun. We do a lot of labs. The homework is not too hard. We watch a lot of educational powerpoints
That’s right. You heard me. I may be a 6th grader, but I am in a 7th grade math class. 7th grade advanced. I don’t mean to brag, but, it is so cool! It is a bit hard, but not too challenging nonetheless. I plan to be a good student, which I already am.
P.E. is fun. Right now, we’re doing a volleyball unit. We are practicing our serving. We are also doing rugby. It is very fun. We are learning how to pass. Passing is easy. What I really want to do is to play a game. That will be fun.
6th Grade
27th October 2009
Hey, sorry I haven’t been updating my blog lately. It just slipped my mind. But anyways, let me just get to the topic at hand. As you can see, it says 6th Grade. That is a good indication that this has something to do with 6th Grade. So guess what? I’m in sixth grade. It’s actually pretty easy if you get used to it. well, it is not easy for kindergarteners, no. It is just easy for people who are old enough. I get a lot of projects though.
Fiction Stories
7th April 2009
At school, we just finished up our fiction stories. Mine was about these spies saving stolen monkeys from the evil scientist. Now I can’t just get enough. I started making another story called Mix ‘n Match. It’s about a kid, named Pixel, his dad, and some friends. Pixel has to save his mom- with whatever it takes. It’s hard for me to generate new ideas. So, right now, I’m stuck. Wish me luck on a successful new story.
Spelling Bee
4th April 2009
Man, I was so close to winning the Spelling Bee. The COUNTY Spelling Bee. There were 109 kids, and it was hard. I was so nervous. It took place in Tice Gym, in Walnut Creek. First two rounds were LONG written tests. Once you get 4 words wrong, you’re out! The first round, I survived, but a lot were eliminated. Maybe 40-45 were eliminated. Then onto the second round? I have to say, it was a lot harder. Now this is where I fell. I had three words spelled wrong, and then I had to come across a word- cachet. That word I struggled on. I spelled it cache. Close, but no cigar. I went to the sign-out table, and they told me I placed 48 out of the 109. That’s pretty good, eh. My parents said I did a good job. I know I did. But I got all teary-eyed, and that was that.
